OWL
Welcome to Tidenet, the RTCPS Intranet. The purpose of this site is to allow students and staff access to various productivity tools. The featured tool is our OWL Intranet Knowledgebase System. OWL allows you anywhere/anytime access to your Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and small PowerPoint files. In addition, you may save links to web-sites you need for research. Tidenet.org is a new tool for 2007-2008 and we expect there will be some growing pains.
The following procedures and policies apply to your use of OWL.
1. OWL is for temporary storage of files only to allow you to easily access your work from both home and school.
2. You should always maintain a copy of your work on your RTCPS file space at the school.
3. OWL is for the storage of school related documents only.
4. Documents must not contain confidential information of any kind.
5. To insure the best possible performance OWL usage and files are monitored, all members of our community have been issued usernames and passwords to access OWL.
